Preserving Our Past - Educating Our Future

The Tarrant County College District Archives (TCCDA) is a Districtwide program responsible for the ongoing task of collecting and preserving the College’s history and institutional records of permanent and historical value.

Additionally, Tarrant County College is one of just a few community colleges in Texas fortunate enough to have sizable and unique special collections in its archives. The Heritage Room Special Collections, as they are collectively entitled, have proven to be a rich, valuable resource for teaching and learning local and Texas history and culture.

Accessing the Collections

TCCDA is committed to providing access to its holdings and actively encourages them to be used by processing its collections in a timely manner and making them readily available for research, teaching and learning. 

Hours of Operation

TCCDA is open by appointment only. Please contact us in advance at 817-515-6620 to schedule a visit:

  • 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
