Our survey contained many questions specific to students or employees, though there were several questions asked of both groups. OIDI, the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Compliance (IEC) and an advisory council made up of students, faculty, staff and administrators from each of the five campuses, as well as District employees, collaborated to create the survey questions.

In Fall 2012, we emailed a link to the survey to all TCC employees and students. The survey was open for 11 days. To encourage student participation we offered several incentives that included gift cards, bus passes, a personal lunch with their campus president and a preferred parking spot at their home campus. IEC conducted a random drawing from students who completed the survey. Those chosen were eligible for the incentives.
