International Admissions

A non-citizen applicant holding any temporary visa category issued by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is an international admission student.


  • Enroll in and complete at least 12 semester hours each regular term.
  • Complete placement testing.
  • Demonstrate English Language Proficiency with one of the following:
    • Passing TOEFL scores - Internet-based (71), computer-based (193), paper-based (525)
    • Passing IELTS score (Academic): Overall Band Score (5.7)
    • Completing a US-based Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) approved English Language Proficiency program
  • Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 if you are transferring from a college or university in the U.S.
  • Submit a USCIS form I-134 if you are sponsored by a current U.S. resident.
  • Pay all costs for international transcript evaluations provided by a National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) approved evaluator. Note: A NACES evaluation is not required for transcripts from Puerto Rico.


You are expected to pay all tuition and fees at the time of registration.

The College does not provide:

  • Financial assistance programs
  • Student housing
  • Public transportation

Applicants from outside U.S. are required to:

  1. Obtain a passport from your respective governments.
  2. Obtain a visa from the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
    • Must be accepted by a college or university to receive an F-1 visa.
    • After you have been accepted, the International Admissions Office will issue a certificate of eligibility, form I-20.
    • Present form I-20 to the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate for an F-1 visa.
