Course Withdrawals
Undergraduate - Credit
The official day of record for an undergraduate regular term course is the 12th class day (census date).
Drops occurring before the census date:
- Are deleted from the student's enrollment.
- Do not earn any grade nor appear on the student's transcript.
Course withdrawals occurring after the census date:
- Appear on the student's transcript and earn a grade of W.
Check the calendar or your instructor's course syllabus for drop and withdrawal deadlines.

Continuing Education - Non Credit
Depending on course length of non-credit courses, the census date is the third class day. The census date is the last class day for courses less than three days.
How to Drop or Withdraw
To withdraw or drop from a credit or non-credit course:
- Log in to WebAdvisor
- Select Students
- Select Register and Drop Sections
Administrative Withdrawal
The college reserves the right to withdraw a student from class if, in the judgment of college officials, such withdrawal is in the best interest of the student or the student body at large.
