Located in Fort Worth at Tarrant County College's Northwest Campus, the Criminal Justice Training Center has the capability of providing on-site training to assist the Tarrant County Law Enforcement Community in its training needs.
All fees will be raised by 4% starting January 2012.
Arrangements can be made to provide training from our existing curricula and schedule (PDF will open in new window) for your agency or a combined group of agencies. We can also develop a program to meet your specific needs.
New Meningococcal Meningitis Vaccination Requirement
The 82nd Texas Legislature approved Senate Bill 1107, which requires bacterial meningitis vaccinations for all students entering college who are under 30 years of age, effective Spring 2012 (January 1, 2012). Students will have to show proof of vaccination 10 days before the beginning of classes for academic courses and CE courses longer than 360 hours.
The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board has determined that the language in the law does NOT affect or include Continuing Education students. This will NOT impact in-service classes at the Police Academy.
Please visit TCC's Meningitis Vaccinations page for more information.
