Enter at the Commerce Street Entrance on the east side of the building and report to the graduate staging area.
The commencement ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. Commencement is expected to last 2 ½ hours. Conferring of your degree will be done at the end of the commencement ceremony. Cell phones must be turned off during the commencement ceremony, and graduates are expected to stay for the duration of the event.
The name card will be used to announce your name as you cross the stage. You must
bring this card with you to commencement. If your name is difficult to pronounce,
please visit the Pronunciation Table in the graduate staging area following check-in.
The name card will also indicate your arrival time. Please arrive on time, or early.
Name cards will be mailed by May 1. If you do not receive your name card, please arrive for check-in at 4:45 p.m.
Graduates will be able to purchase food items while in the staging area. No food or drink will be permitted outside this area. Students will be asked to discard any remaining food or drink items prior to entering the arena from the staging area.
Cash, debit, and credit cards will be accepted.
No outside food or drink is permitted in the Fort Worth Convention Center.

Commencement will be interpreted for the hearing impaired. Section 202 at the Fort Worth Convention Center will be reserved for hearing impaired guests.
