Lillie Biggins

Lillie Biggins, R.N., FACHE

(Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives)

President, Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital, Fort Worth, Texas

A long-time health care veteran, Lillie Biggins became president of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth in June 2012.

She joined Texas Health Fort Worth in 1997 as vice president of operations, overseeing major departments such as Emergency Services, Trauma Services and Restorative Services.

Prior to joining Texas Health Resources, Ms. Biggins held a variety of executive and clinical leadership positions at North Texas facilities including:

  • Columbia/HCA Plaza Medical Center
  • John Peter Smith Hospital
  • Parkland Memorial Hospital

Education Past and Present

Before moving into administration, Ms. Biggins studied nursing. She:

She is currently on the adjunct faculty at the University of Texas at Arlington and was named distinguished nursing alumnus of the UTA College of Nursing.

Civic Community Activities

Ms. Biggins is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American College of Health Care Executives and the American Nurses Association.

She was elected chair of the DFW Airport Board in February 2014. She previously served as chair from February 2008 to 2009 and has been a board member since 2005.
