Materials

Included in the cost of program:

  • Tuition
  • One massage holster
  • One eight-ounce bottle
  • Oils and lotions
  • Study materials for state licensure exam
  • Two sets of sheets

The following will not be provided by the program and are recommended:

  • Textbooks
  • 4 GB flash drive
  • Three sets of sheets and one twin-size blanket
  • Uniform – scrub top and pants
  • Comfortable shoes
  • Writing and note-taking materials
  • Athletic bra top
  • Loose fitting shorts
  • Washing of any linens used in class or clinic

Uniform

Because this program is part of the healthcare industry, students will be required to wear a scrub top and scrub pants every day to class and as well as in clinic. This practice ingrains the idea that Massage Therapy students are medical professionals and that there is a standard of professional appearance to be maintained. Scrub tops and pants need to be solid colors – the actual color of the scrubs is unimportant.
