Continuing Education Services offers CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider and Recertification course for medical professionals. CPR for Health-Care Providers includes instruction in lifesaving skills or respiratory and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants.
Students meeting the cognitive and performance skills will receive a BLS American Heart Association (AHA) completion certificate. ACLS is designed for health care providers to develop proficiency in the knowledge and skills of ACLS. Participants should have experience in arrhythmia recognition and be competent in American Heart Association CPR.
Continuing Education Services offers Emergency Medical Services (EMS) curriculum and training for local fire departments. EMS professions may include but are not limited to firefighters, police, emergency medical technicians and paramedics. Class subjects and dates are jointly decided upon by TCC EMS personnel and a representative of the fire department. Classes are held at the local fire department.
