About Us

Generation HopeGeneration Hope helps economically disadvantaged students advance in the classroom and in life by introducing them to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) studies through structured curriculum, field trips, programming and college preparation.

Generation Hope is a 3-year college preparatory middle school education program that focuses on STEM curricula.

Our Mission

To nurture, empower and develop the whole child by leveraging math, science and technology with computer involvement and global awareness to brighten his or her life possibilities.

Our History

Roy C. Brooks, who serves as the Tarrant County Commissioner of Precinct 1, founded Generation Hope in the fall of 2009.

Generation Hope has served over 500 low-income middle school students in Tarrant County. After 5 consecutive years of growth and success, we have expanded from 1 to 13 schools and from 25 students to well over 300 annually.

The program recently merged with TCC South Campus and became a program with the Tarrant County College District.
