Career Coach buttonMany students gain skills that enable them to become employed with local architectural and design firms while attending classes at TCC.

Students may elect to seek employment in the field as paraprofessionals upon completion of his or her degree or certificate at TCC. Students wishing to pursue a professional career in architecture often transfer to an accredited school of architecture to complete a bachelor's degree or master’s degree in architecture.

The National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) offers information on accredited schools of architecture as well as career information.

Beginning entry level architecture students often earn salaries that range $30,000 to 50,000 per year depending on experience and ability to apply the knowledge gained in the Architectural Technology Program.
