In addition to helping meet the visual and performing arts requirement, the non-degree seeking student can benefit from an environment for serious study leading to individual achievement and exhibition in local art events.
Facilities across all our campuses are equipped to offer the resources students need to develop their skills.
TCC is a member of the Texas Association of Schools of Art and offers the art curriculum approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB). Not all campuses offer all of the approved THECB courses.
Students can take art courses toward an associate of arts (A.A.) degree at TCC and toward a bachelor’s of fine arts (B.F.A.) degree at transfer universities.
