Southeast Campus's resident dance company, Rhapsody Movement Company, under the direction of Jamie Perrin, has performed for the District Chancellor's Breakfast, TCC Southeast President's luncheon, in conjunction with the company members of Velocity Dance Company from the South Campus, Dance for the Planet Festival in Dallas, and the American College Dance Festival.
All students enrolled in a dance class have the opportunity to take the stage with Rhapsody in the end-of-semester production of "Dance Works." The concert is held in the Roberson Theatre on the Southeast Campus.
The spring semester of 2008 was the inaugural concert, and students performed only one night to a sold out theater. Because of the rapid growth of dance on Southeast Campus, the concert has now expanded to two nights. "Dance Works" gives members of Rhapsody, as well as all students participating in dance classes, an opportunity to perform.
