Effective July 31, 2014, the Dietetic Technician A.A.S. and the Dietary Manager Certificate programs will become special admissions programs. You are required to submit a Dietetics Program Application before the application deadlines.
If you are currently enrolled in the Dietetic Technician or Dietary Manager program, you will be able to finish without any changes.
Starting Fall 2014, we will offer the following new nutrition certificates. These certificates are open admission programs and do not require program application.
If you are interested in pursuing these certificates, declare the certificates as your major(s) during TCC application process or through WebAdvisor.
These certificates are also part of the curriculum requirements of the Dietetic Technician Program. You may choose to complete one or two certificates before to applying to the Dietetic Technician Program.

Our Dietetic Technician Program is accredited by Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics and is the only accredited Dietetic Technician program in Texas.
Our Dietary Manager Certificate Program is approved by the Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals.
The mission of the Dietetics program is to train and produce competent entry-level dietetics and nutrition professionals to meet the increased nutritional needs of the community and the demand of the workforce.
