Career Coach buttonThe Critical Care Paramedic course provides valuable education and training for those paramedics who care for intensive care patients during inter-facility transports.


EMSP 2458 Critical Care Paramedic


You must complete approximately 8 hours of clinical rotations each week.


After meeting admission requirements to the College, you must:

  • Submit a Critical Care Paramedic Application form
  • Be a practicing paramedic
  • Be Certified or Licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services
  • Have minimum 2 years of experience or be a currently enrolled student in the paramedic associate degree program

This course is limited to 15 students who will be selected based on college grade point average.
