About Taking the Test
- Please send an email to Terri Kleam at terri.kleam@tccd.edu to reserve a seat for one of the test dates provided. Please request a specific date because records of your request are kept on file.
- There is no study material available for this test.
- You must present a valid government-issued photo ID when signing in.
- Test results are good for two years.
- If you do not pass the test, you may retake it after a six-month waiting period.
Dates
Test reservations for the October 2012 class are now being accepted through email only. The reservations are taken in order that they are received.
The June 8 and July 6 test dates are no longer available for reservations.
Waiting List Information
- The morning of each test, a waiting list will be available for standbys in case there are no-shows at the testing location.
- A waiting list will not be started in advance of the test dates. This waiting list is on a first-come, first-served basis and is not a guarantee of a seat.
Times
- 8:15 - 8:30 a.m.: Arrive at the test location
- 8:30 - 9 a.m.: Sign in
- 9 a.m.: Test begins promptly
The test lasts approximately 2 hours.
Location
Fire Services Training Center auditorium (WFSC-1101) on the Northwest Campus.
- Electronic devices are not allowed on the desktop during testing.
- Tarrant County College is a non-smoking environment.
- Dress comfortably in layers.
Parking
Please do not park in the yellow parking slots, which are reserved for faculty.
