Career Coach buttonThe Texas Real Estate Commission has approved the TCC Real Estate program to satisfy the educational requirements for both the sales and broker licenses.

A certificate of completion and an Associate of Applied Science degree in real estate is offered at on the Northeast Campus.

The following pre-license education is required for a salesperson license prior to September 1, 2012:

  1. RELE 1406 Principles of Real Estate (core real estate course)
  2. RELE 2301 Law of Agency (core real estate course)
  3. ELE 1311 Law of Contracts (core real estate course)
  4. RELE elective
  5. RELE elective or real estate related education course [as listed with the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC)]

The following pre-license education is required for a salesperson license on or after September 1, 2012:

  1. RELE 1406 Principles of Real Estate (core real estate course)
  2. RELE 2301 Law of Agency (core real estate course)
  3. RELE 1311 Law of Contracts (core real estate course)
  4. RELE 1406 Real Estate Finance
  5. REL E 1300 Contract Forms and Addenda
