Real Estate
The Texas Real Estate Commission has approved the TCC Real Estate program to satisfy the educational requirements for both the sales and broker licenses.
A certificate of completion and an Associate of Applied Science degree in real estate is offered at on the Northeast Campus.
The following pre-license education is required for a salesperson license prior to September 1, 2012:
- RELE 1406 Principles of Real Estate (core real estate course)
- RELE 2301 Law of Agency (core real estate course)
- ELE 1311 Law of Contracts (core real estate course)
- RELE elective
- RELE elective or real estate related education course [as listed with the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC)]
The following pre-license education is required for a salesperson license on or after September 1, 2012:
- RELE 1406 Principles of Real Estate (core real estate course)
- RELE 2301 Law of Agency (core real estate course)
- RELE 1311 Law of Contracts (core real estate course)
- RELE 1406 Real Estate Finance
- REL E 1300 Contract Forms and Addenda
