Sociology

Career Coach buttonSociology courses incorporate culture, community, education, family, socialization, social institutions, social network, work and more.

You will:

  • Engage in scientific study of social structure
  • Examine the interactions between individuals and between social groups
  • Study the nature of behavior in relation to the social environment

Several sociology courses are available through eLearning.

We offer coursework that prepares you to transfer to programs at 4-year institutions.

Outside of the Classroom

Our students are very active in service learning at TCC, and each semester they are recognized as some of the most generous and devoted volunteers in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
