Do you want to be part of a group of students as you complete your degree?

Do you want to create relationships with your classmates, faculty and staff?

Do you need flexible scheduling to pursue a degree or certificate?

¿Buscas un programa bilingüe que ofrece clases en inglés y español?

If so, Weekend College is for you!

What is Weekend College?

Weekend College is designed to allow you to join a set group of students as you complete a college degree or the transferable core curriculum by attending classes only on weekends.

Starting in Fall 2014, Weekend College will allow students to earn an Associate of Arts degree within two years.

Weekend College is centralized at Trinity River Campus but also uses technology to merge face-to-face, hybrid and fully online courses.

You can maintain work-life balance

In Weekend College, you attend campus only one day per week. This schedule lets you balance family and work responsibilities with your school work more easily than a traditional course schedule allows.

You will work through two courses at a time during each of the District’s 8-week terms.

Need to Move Faster?

If you combine eLearning and Weekend College courses, you may be able to finish your program in less than two years.

Do you have more questions?

  • Can Weekend College help me balance my family and work obligations with my school work?
  • I'm the first in my family to go to college.
    • Can I really earn a degree by going to class only on weekends?
    • And in 18 months?
  • Can I get advising and tutoring if I need help?

Join us for our Summer 2014 Weekend College Campus Visits (PDF will open in a new window) and bring your questions.

Whether you are a current student or prospective student, please come by to ask us questions and learn more about Weekend College at TCC.
