Internet Courses

The Center for Distance Learning provides access to a wide range of Internet courses for academic credit and continuing education. Computers and the Internet are the main communication methods utilized for Internet course instruction.

Blackboard and LogiCampus are the Learning Management Systems (LMS) used to deploy Internet courses at Tarrant County College.

Note:  As of Summer 2012, Blackboard Learn will be the only LMS used to deliver Internet courses at TCC.

Students will enter their virtual classroom to:

  • Access the course syllabus, instructor notes, assignments and testing information.
  • Participate in discussion forums, chat rooms or complete assignments using external Internet websites.
  • Contact their instructors.
