Adjunct - Credit

Adjuncts are hired for the Fall, Spring and Summer sessions on an as-needed basis.
Credit Adjuncts are normally paid in four equal amounts each Fall and Spring Semester.

• Fall Semester payments are issued September, October, November and December.
• Spring Semester payments are issued February, March, April and May.
  • Please note: Usually, no payments are made in August or January for the Fall or Spring Adjunct instructors' new contracts.
• Summer Semesters are usually paid in two equal installments:
  
  • Summer I is paid 1/2 in June and 1/2 in July
  • Summer II is paid 1/2 in July and 1/2 in August

Payday is always the last workday of the month--not last class day.

If you are a member of the TRS system, it is your responsibility to let the payroll office know your status with TRS; you will have TRS & Medicare deductions. Any TRS retiree should be certain all information is current and correct with the Payroll and Benefits departments.

As of January 1, 2008, all newly hired part-time employees who are not members of TRS must participate in Medicare and a FICA alternative plan currently administered by MetLife Company.

You may view your pay statement, stipend, benefit, tax and W-2 information via WebAdvisor. Once you have have logged in, choose the "Employees" link to find your Pay Statements, W2 and other information. Stipend Information is not available until the contracts are assigned by each campus department and made payable by the Human Resources office.
