TCC bookstores offer a year round buyback to students who wish to sell their books. The best time to sell your books is at the end of each semester. If the bookstores do not need the book, they will check to see if it has wholesale value. Books are eligible for buyback regardless of where they were purchased as long as they have value.
Instructors choose the textbooks for their class. If your textbook is no longer needed for a class, bookstores can offer only wholesale value as determined by a national buying guide.
These prices are not determined by the bookstore. If the book has gone into a new edition or is a custom publication, it often has no value and cannot be bought back.
