Tarrant County College is being proactive in determining how we will operate in case there is a serious situation involving the H1N1 (swine) Flu. For more information, view:
To date, no official cases have been reported on TCC campuses. TCC will continue to work with local, regional and national public health authorities to follow proper guidelines.
Individuals with flu-like symptoms or fever should seek medical attention from their preferred healthcare professional or local hospital. For more information and details on the flu, visit the Center for Disease Control and Prevention site.
Also, although we are sympathetic to the situation of those whose children's schools are closed, we must follow the TCCD policy that states, "Faculty, staff, and students are not to bring children to classrooms when the children are not involved in a College-sponsored class or activity, due to the possibility of liability and/or disruption of normal College functions. Children are not to be left unattended on College property."
