Program Description

Our program will teach you the rules, regulations and procedures of a railroad dispatcher.

You will use computer systems in a hands-on simulated dispatching environment to learn to move trains safely and efficiently across an assigned territory.

How to Apply: Selective Admissions Process

  1. Apply to the Railroad Dispatcher Program:
    1. Complete and submit the Railroad Dispatcher Program Application
    2. Receive approval by the pre-screening panel
    3. Be scheduled for the Railroad Dispatcher Aptitude Test after receiving approval
    4. Pass the Railroad Dispatcher Aptitude Test
    5. Participate in an interview with a panel of industry representatives.
  2. Apply to TCC once you are accepted into the Railroad Dispatcher program.
