Inclement Weather: Should a bid deadline be compromised due to inclement weather or other situation where TCCD offices are closed, bids will be accepted until 5 p.m. the next business day after the District reopens.

Addenda: Check this site often for any relevant Addendum that may be added for any published bid.

Bid Results: Send your written request to purchasing@tccd.edu. Results will be conveyed only after a decision has been rendered and only upon receipt of written request. Please identify the RF(X) number of your inquiry.

Insurance Requirements: Unless stated otherwise in the RF(X), TCCD's insurance requirements are directly related to the category of services that will be provided. Proof of insurance must be provided to TCC before an award will be rendered. The five categories follow:

It is acceptable to direct questions regarding insurance compliance to TCCD's Director of Risk Management and Insurance, Mr. Ford Farris (ford.farris@tccd.edu) before, during and after a RF(X) event.

Minority Owned Businesses: TCCD encourages certified (e.g., NCTRCA) minority owned businesses to participate in RF(X) events. Partnership between firms (e.g., joint ventures, subcontracting opportunities) is strongly endorsed and encouraged. TCCD's primary focus is with MWBE firms based in Tarrant County. Secondary focus is with MWBE firms based in the eight counties adjacent to Tarrant County (Ellis, Rockwell, Dallas, Collin, Kaufman, Johnson, Parker and Denton). Third, TCCD's focus will be on MWBE firms beyond the aforementioned regions. TCCD's capital improvement plan program (CIP) expects a minimum of twenty percent (20%) MWBE work force inclusion.
