Activities inviting
club participation

SE Student Activities opens the spring semester today with Clubfest, an event for campus organizations to introduce themselves to SE students.
The Main Commons are filled with representatives from various clubs and organizations informing students of their mission and benefits of membership.
Student activities organized the event to encourage students to get involved on campus. All SE Campus organizations were invited to participate.
Phi Theta Kappa’s SE chapter Beta Delta Omicron is providing students with information about the honor society and transfer benefits.
“Phi Theta Kappa may be the deciding factor between you and the other guy when applying for transfer scholarships and distinguished universities,” Katie Daley, PTK vice president of scholarship, said.
Another participant, The Muslim Student Organization offers support to their members to preserve the culture and social values of its ancestry.
The Culinary Arts program’s club for current students is also participating.
The Black Legacy Student Organization recently participated in the City of Arlington’s Martin Luther King Jr. birthday celebration and is among the clubs recruiting for future community activities.
Other clubs, including Christian Student Ministries, Future Professionals of Science and Medicine, International Asian Student Organization and Student Campus Ambassadors, are among the organizations recruiting during the festival.
