Stage West to open new play
Stage West announces the debut of playwright Neil LaBute’s
The Shape of Things Thursday, Feb. 12, at 7:30 p.m.
The Shape of Things is about Adam, an English major who is a guard at
an art museum, and Evelyn, a graduate art student.
One night before the end of his shift, Adam encounters Evelyn, who is
about to deface a statue to make a statement.
They begin seeing each other soon afterward and Adam’s appearance
begins to change much to the amazement of his friends Philip and Jenny.
Evelyn soon begins affecting Philip and Jenny, and their relationship
begins to undergo changes full of betrayal.
