Designer to speak
about typography

Doyald Young, internationally renowned typographer and native Texan, will discuss his love for art and his personal approach to letterforms and logo designs in Dallas.
The presentation will be Thursday Feb. 26, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Angelika Film Center. Attendees must pre-register by Feb. 23 via www.dfw.aiga.org.
Young’s designs and logotypes are known all over the world.
Tickets are $10 for American Institute of Graphic Arts members, $15 for students and $25 for the general public.
Persons present will receive a free copy of Young’s book, The Art of the Letter.
Young is a professor at the Art Center College of Design in southern California.
