Ongoing A food and toiletries drive sponsored by Phi Theta Kappa on NE Campus and benefiting N.E.E.D. (Northeast Emergency Distribution) offers drop off locations across campus. NTAB, NACB, NBSS, NSCI and NSTU lobbies are drop off locations. Items needed include non-perishable food, sugar-free Jello, jellies and jams. Also needed are toiletries and toilet paper as well as shaving products, all soaps and diapers of all sizes.
Ongoing-March 4 Phi Theta Kappa on NW Campus is helping the less fortunate by gathering slightly used bags and blankets. This includes duffel bags, sleeping bags and backpacks. The last day for drop off is March 4. Drop offs are in WSTU 2811, WCTS 1110 and in boxes next to elevators.
Today The TCC Computer User Group will hold its How To special interest group meeting on South Campus 1-3 p.m. in SSTU Living Room. There will be door prizes for members, but anyone can attend. Call Herman Dodson at 817-496-4709 for details.
Today Positive Self-Talk will be presented on South Campus in the SSTU Forum Room 6-6:45 p.m. The director of South Campus health services, Flo Stanton, will present.
Today Be Good to Your Brain, a seminar on how eating right can improve learning power, will be presented in the Lecture Hall ESEE 1301 from noon to 12:45 p.m.
March 4 Career and employment services will offer free resume critiquing assistance in ESEE 2103B-S 2-5 p.m.
March 4 Students can learn to organize and manage their time effectively with Time Management. This workshop will be on the NE Campus 12:30-1:50 p.m. in College Hall (NCAB 1111).
March 5 The Organization of Latin American Students on NE Campus is sponsoring a Battle of the Bands in the NSTU Center Corner 7 p.m. First-place winner will receive an award. Contact Richard Vela, club sponsor, at 817-515-6954 for more information.
March 6 The Legal Assistant Student Enrichment Resource L.A.S.E.R. group will meet at 1 p.m. in the NE Campus Library Heritage Room. March 12 The Women in New Roles WINR program from all four campuses will have a booth at the Entrepreneur Expo 8 a.m.-6 p.m. in the Fort Worth Convention Center. March 16 A seminar sponsored by College Student Success Seminars, Improving Your Memory Helps Raise Your Grades will be presented on South Campus in the SSTU Texas Room 12:30-1:30 p.m.
March 17 Digitize Your Music Records and Tapes will be presented by the TCC Computer User Group at its general meeting 1-4 p.m. in the NE Campus NSTU Center Corner. March 17 Be Good to Your Partner: Recognize and Avoid Codependency, a seminar sponsored by the SE counseling center, will be presented in Lecture Hall ESEE 1301 from noon to 12:45 p.m.
March 18 Are You Prepared for a Job Interview? will be on South Campus in the SSTU Texas Room from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The event is sponsored by South career and employment services.

March 18 Life Skills and Financial Aid, a seminar by Jamie Porter and sponsored by WINR, will be in the Optimum Room, WACB 1123, on NW Campus 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m.
March 18 The Latino Student Union 3-on-3 volleyball and faculty/staff softball game sign-up date deadline is today. For more information, call Scott at 817-515-4689. A two-day volleyball tournament is April 20 and 22 and the softball game is April 8.

March 24-25 Degree Planning/Transferring Made Easy will help students with the transferring process. The seminar will be on NE Campus in College Hall NCAB 1111 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. Thursday.
March 25 Students can get guidelines on developing a professional-looking resume at Resume Writing, a seminar presented on South Campus in the SSTU Texas Room 2-3 p.m.
March 25-26 Living Literature, sponsored by the NE Campus English department, will feature novelist and essayist Rick Bass in the NE Campus NSTU Center Corner 7-8 p.m. on both evenings. Bass will read selections from his writing and answer questions.
March 26 Students can sign up for a NEW Games racquetballcompetition that begins at 12:45 on the courts on NE Campus.
March 29 Career Decision Making, a seminar to help students with career choices, will be presented on NE Campus in NCAB 1111 from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
March 30 Dress for Success, a seminar on making a good impression with attire, will be presented on South Campus in the SSTU Texas Room 2-3 p.m.
March 30 Part one of a two-part series, ABCs To Success: Setting Goals and Making the Right Decisions, will be presented on South Campus in the SSTU Texas Room 12:30-1:30 p.m. and again April 13 at the same time and place.
March 31 Strategies for Acceptance to Medical, Dental, Veterinary and Pharmacy Schools will be presented on NE Campus in College Hall, NCAB 1111, 12:30-1:30 p.m.
