EDG noble try for dead guys

Exquisite is defined as something excellent and flawless.
The Exqui-site Dead Guys (EDG) makes a noble attempt to live up to
its name in its independently produced debut album Ex Nihilo.
Ex Nihilo is Latin for “from nothing,” and that definitely
describes this album.
EDG, a local band from the mid-cities area, includes NE pre-law student
Ben Edwards and his long-time friend, James French.
The band is currently unsigned and recorded the entire album in a local
rehearsal hall with help from friends.
For a “garage” recording, the production quality of this
album is surprisingly good.
Ex Nihilo is a 16-track roller coaster ranging from the growling goth
rock reminiscent track Underground to the uplifting Christian-influenced
In Time.
These multi-instrumentalists manage to choreograph traditional and
synthetic instruments, and the album flows eloquently from its instrumental
start to its lullaby finish.
Ex Nihilo is a fun album, but the average listener might get a little
irritated at the extreme range in genre of the tracks.
There is something for everyone on this album if the listener takes
the time to find it.
However, to truly enjoy this album from start to finish, the listener
must be a real music fanatic, must appreciate talent without all the
fancy packaging and must dislike the increasing number of cookie-cutter
bands.
Those looking for something different should check out Ex Nihilo.
