Peer Gynt to close season

Texas Ballet Theater, formerly Fort Worth Dallas Ballet, will present its final production of the season with Ben Stevenson’s presentation of Peer Gynt.
Performances will be at Dallas Music Hall at Fair Park and in Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth.
The title character is a larger-than-life hero who journeys from innocence to depravity and, ultimately, redemption.
Based on the Henrik Ibsen 1875 play, the ballet traces the adventures of the young peasant as he sails the world, romancing many a woman in the process.
   Music is by Edvard Grieg.
Performances will be Friday through Sunday, April 16-18, at 8 p.m. in Dallas Fair Park.
In Bass Hall, performances will be Friday-Sunday, May 21-23, at 8 p.m.
Tickets are $15-$87 and may be ordered at 1-877-212-4280 or online at www.texasballettheater.org.
