Semester bringing campus sports play

   Spring break may be over, but TCC students can find sports activities in the gym.
   SE Campus offers three sports choices in April.
   Tennis singles and doubles begin Tuesday, April 13, for SE students. Matches begin at 2:30 p.m. on April 13 and 15 at the Arlington Tennis Center.
   On Monday, April 19, a golf competition will be on the SE golf range. The closest-to-the-pin contest will be 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-2:30 p.m.
   Ultimate Frisbee begins Monday, April 19, and ends Wednesday, April 21. The 5-on-5 competition begins at 2:30 p.m. on the SE intramurals field. For questions, call Jason Wooten at 817-515-3611.
   For South students, the Latino Student Union Softball student/faculty game will be Thursday, April 8. Sign-ups also began March 18 for the Latino Student Union 3-on-3 volleyball tournament. The tournament will be Tuesday, April 20, and Thursday, April 22.
   Students on NW will find opportunities for intramurals this month. For all events, registration will be in the Health-Physical Education Building and must be completed by the Friday before the activity starts.
   Baseball begins Tuesday, April 6, until Tuesday, April 20. Play-offs begin Thursday, April 22. Tennis doubles begin Wednesday, April 7, with a tournament Friday, April 9. Tuesday, April 13, soccer begins and continues until Tuesday, April 27. Play-offs will begin Thursday, April 29.
   Flag football play-offs begin Tuesday, April 7.
   Students on NE can enjoy racquetball Friday, March 26. Participants should meet at the NE Campus racquetball courts at 12:45 p.m.; play begins at 1 p.m.
   On Friday, April 2, a game of miniature golf will be held at Mountasia free of charge. Those interested should meet at 12:45 p.m. with the game beginning at 1 p.m. Sand volleyball will be Friday, April 16, at 12:45 p.m. on the NE courts. Play begins at 1 p.m.
