Seniors to bask in spring fling
Senior Education on South
Campus is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a Spring Bash in the
Student Union Friday, April 11, at 6:30 p.m.
The
evening's festivities will start with dinner and music provided by Gloria
Burnett.
The
evening's program will include interviews with individuals who were
involved in the early stages of creating the senior education program
on South Campus.
Class members will perform demonstrations of various styles of dance
such as Latin, tap and line dancing. A display will include artwork
and crafts designed by students in the senior classes.
Presently, the South Campus senior program has almost 500 seniors participating.
To be eligible to enroll, a person must be over 55. Those interested
in attending may purchase tickets at the South Campus business services
office for $4. Attendees are urged to buy their tickets early since
only 250 will be available.
