SE to bring lit to life with music

SE English Department presents Bringing Literature to Life Wednesday, April 21, at 7:30 pm.

The free concert in the Roberson Theatre features The New World Renaissance Band. The instrumentalists, known as the Cantiga, feature medieval and renaissance folk music from times as diverse as the 11th to the 17th centuries.

Also featured is vocalist Owain Phyfe, who sings the songs in a variety of languages such as Latin and Ukrainian.

The New World Renaissance Band performs at Scarborough Fair each spring and at the Texas Renaissance Festival each fall.
