Vickie E. Walls received a tuition scholarship
from the Andale Spanish Club on South Campus. Walls plans to use the Spanish
language in her teaching career. The organization is part of Senior Education
Program in South Campus.

Today SE Campus Career and Employment Services and
The Employment News are co-sponsoring Need-a-Job/Get-a-Job Fair from 9
a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Main Commons. The fair will include over 50 different
employers in various fields of business. Call 817-515-3592 for additional

April 24 NE Campus Career and Employment Services
will sponsor Here To Hire Job Fair from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the
Student Center, Game Room and Bookstore halls.
April 25 The 2003 Awards Ceremony for the TCC Jim
Bolen Mathematics Competition will be held at 3 p.m. in the Student Center's
Center Corner on NE Campus. A reception will follow the ceremony. Outstanding
math students, their faculty and representatives from Texas Christian
University and University of North Texas will attend.
April 25 As part of New Games, a spring fun run/walk
will begin at 12:45 p.m. Participants should meet at the HPE Building.
The NEW-U Wellness program is sponsoring the event.
April 25 The Optimist Clubs of TCC will celebrate
their charter banquet at 7 p.m. in the SUB Living Room on South Campus.
Members from NW and South campuses will join for this birthday celebration.
April 29 Students experiencing any difficulties
trying to cope with the pressures of school, work and family can learn
to deal effectively with stress throughout the year. Sandra Johnson will
present Stress-Coping With the Pressures of School, Work and Family. The
session is from 11 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. in the SUB Texas Room on South Campus.
May 2 Movie Night on SE Campus in the North Ballroom
will include refreshments, speakers and performers 5 p.m.-11 p.m. Cost
is $3 for adults and $1.50 for children. Event is sponsored by the Women

May 2 As part of New Games, a splash day with water
games will begin at 12:45. The event is sponsored by the NEW-U Wellness
program.
May 3-8 Final Exams
May 6-7 SE campus students can stop by the Bistro
for free donuts.
May 9 Proceeds from TCC's spring golf tournament
will go toward a scholarship fund in memory of Mario Hernandez, former
business services director on NE Campus. The Florida scramble is open
to faculty, staff and guests.
