Jack cats around with Sandler's anger
by Nick Nance, Managing

No matter how calm, cool and
laid back someone appears, everyone has a breaking point.
Anger is the one thing you can't get rid of by losing
it.
In
the recently released comedy Anger Management, Dave Buznik (Adam Sandler)
is a cool-tempered, quiet executive assistant, who on the surface has
everything going for him.
What he does not realize is he is a time bomb waiting to
explode.
The
movie begins with Buznik flying to a business meeting in St. Louis.
When
Buznik asks a flight attendant for a set of headphones, he receives
attitude in return. Buznik is then shot with a stun gun by an air marshal.
This scene plays out with Dr. Buddy Rydell, played by Jack Nic-holson,
as a witness.
Buznik
is then forced by a judge to attend anger management therapy.
When
he arrives at therapy, Buznik encounters Bob Knight, who learns he is
in the wrong therapy session and throws a Bobby Knight-like fit with
chair throwing and everything as he exits to go to the sex-aholics anonymous
down the hall.
Dr. Rydell then enters the room, so Buznik thinks he will no have no
problem getting out of his required therapy with the help of his friend.
However, while trying to help his anger ally, Buznik breaks someone's
nose in a bar fight.
He is then forced to undergo a strict regimen of therapy.
As part of his therapy program, Rydell is required to be with Buznik
at all times, including work, home and bed. Blunder after blunder follows
Buznik during his therapy program.
His girlfriend (Marisa Tomei) grows tired of Buznik's inability to commit,
express his feelings in public or even kiss her around anyone.
Buznik's
trip through therapy is unbelievably funny.
Nicholson
and Sandler make a great comedy duo that leaves the viewer wondering
why they have not partnered for any movies previously.
Woody
Harrelson makes a cameo appearance as a cross-dressing German hooker;
his part incites instant laughter.
Tomei
adds just the right touch as Sandler's love interest, and her beauty
is perfectly captured.
Anger
Management is a great comedy experience worthy of anyone's time.
