Trump shows reality
(KRT) Want to get a six-figure
job with The Donald?
NBC has started taking applications from candidates
for The Apprentice, Donald Trump's dramatic reality-TV show tentatively
scheduled to hit the airwaves next year.
Trump will bring onboard about 20 workers to compete
for a job with his real estate empire, the Trump Organization. Each
week, he'll kick one of them off the island-Manhattan, that is. The
contestant who does not get fired by the show's finale will get the
$100,000-plus apprenticeship.
NBC says applicants should be able to take risks,
bounce back after falling and succeed in a cutthroat environment. They
should be prepared to go against the tide, remain focused, think creatively
and be a leader.
The network has created a Web site, www.nbc.com/nbc/
The_Apprentice, from which prospective contestants can download an application.
