SE dedicates foundation of honorees

SE Campus honored dignitaries, faculty,
staff and students recently at its second annual Dedication Circle convocation.
The Dedication Circle, a structure location at the campus'
south entrance, honors individual achievements with engraved bricks.
Those honored at the ceremony included community leaders
Dr. Robert Cluck, mayor of Arlington; David Harry, mayor of Mansfield;
Harold Patterson, former mayor of Arlington and vice president of First
Savings Bank; Nadine Felix, Arlington Convention Center director; Kurt
Parr, EECU vice president; John Conn, National Semiconductor vice president;
Steve Calloway, Six Flags Over Texas vice president and general manager;
Steve White, Lincoln Financial Services account manager; and Gary Hardee,
Arlington Star-Telegram publisher.
Retirees honored were Suzanne Gault, assistant professor
of accounting and Sharon Casseday, assistant professor of office administration.
The 2003 Chancellor's Award for Exemplary Teaching recipient, Catherine
Bottrell, assistant professor of government, was also honored with a
brick.
