Golfing to assist blindness group

  The 11th annual Swing for Sight Golf Tournament, sponsored by the Fort Worth branch of Prevent Blindness Texas, will be Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Texas Star Golf Course in Euless.
   At 12:30 p.m. a shotgun blast will mark the beginning of the event.
   Participants pay a registration fee of $150 and receive a complementary golf shirt.
  The proceeds for the golf tournament go to the sight-saving programs of Prevent Blindness in the Fort Worth area.
   Programs for the not-for-profit organization include photo screening of infants and toddlers, vision screening of pre-school children, adult glaucoma alert screening and eye safety education programs for industries, homes and sports.
