Oliver to open season

   Theatre Arlington opens its 31st season Friday with Oliver.
   The classic Dickens tale will run through Oct. 19 with 7:30 p.m. performances and matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.
   Charles Dickens' intriguing tale of a winsome orphan and his turbulent travails has remained a classic novel and one of theater's most popular musicals.
   The most memorable characters include the roguish, villainous Artful Dodger (Nick Cotter), Widow Corney (Jan Roetan), Mr. Sowerberry (Ryan Roach) and Oliver Twist (11-year-old Dylan Chambers).
   Also featured is Stacy Schronk, former NE Campus drama director, as Mr. Bumble.
   Tickets range from $17-19 with discounts available for students.
