All campuses beginning intramural activities
by Rawly Bransom, Sports Editor

Intramural activities have begun on three campuses for the semester.
SE Campus will start its flag football season Saturday, Oct. 4, and will continue each Saturday until Nov. 1. Each team will be placed in a single elimination tournament according to the team's current record.
SE's incentive program is still looking for participants. The theme this year is Tour De Texas.
Names of the major Texas Universities will be displayed on the SE HPE incentive board. As participants progress through the activities, they will be moved from one school to the next until returning to SE Campus.
For information concerning any SE intramural event, contact the SE HPE department at 817-515-3602.
South Campus is getting ready for its Latino Student Union vs. Faculty\Staff soccer game Monday, Oct. 6. For information, contact Scott Clark in the South Campus HPE department or call 817-515-7721.
NE Campus held its free bowling event last week.
Chris Harrison led the 25 bowlers with a high score of 201. He was followed by Mike Vanderhuff with 157 and James Dam with 154.
After the singles game, the bowlers were paired best score with low score to play scotch doubles.
Each bowler took one shot down the lane and then allowed the second bowler to pick up the spare.
Twenty-three bowlers stayed for the doubles game.
