Creative souls invited to NE for poetry jam

   Poets who want to share their creative works and perhaps win cash prizes may want to check out Poetry Jam Tuesday, Oct. 14.
   Sponsored by the NE Campus English department and student activities, the day's events will run from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the outdoor Chess Board area behind the library.
   The open mic event will feature live music, food and cash prizes ($50 for first, $35 for second). Pre-registration is not required.
   Students are encouraged to show up and participate.
