Memory aids topic of seminar on South Campus


   The counseling department on South Campus will introduce students to methods for improving their grades in Improving Your Memory Helps Raise Your Grades. The presentation will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, in the Texas Room of the Student Center.
   Counselor Annie Dobbins' presentation will use the videotape Memory Skills: Power Learning to teach practical ways of increasing memory.
  
From 20 years of experience in counseling and teaching South Campus students effective learning habits, Dobbins will also offer her own how-to tips on recalling names, dates, classroom discussion and textbook material.
