Panel to lead forum on human sexuality
A look at the essence of healthy sexuality,
issues of homosexuality, bisexuality, premarital sex, abstinence and
innovative pre-marital living arrangements are the subjects Dr. James
Varnardo will address in Human Sexuality.
Directed toward students on all TCC campuses, the
presentation will be interactive as opposed to lecture. Joining Varnardo
are Eddie Sandoval, Sonja Butler and Adam Baugh of the NE counseling
center.
The seminar will be on the NE Campus in the College
Hall (NCAB 112) Wednesday, Oct. 8, 12:30 p.m.-2 p.m. and again from
6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The presentation will help people become more comfortable
dealing with and speaking out about their sexuality as well as sexuality
as a general subject.
In an attempt to develop healthy sexual models for
today’s society, Varnardo said he and his staff hope to have students
leave feeling less inhibited about their sexuality.
