Seminar to help SELF

A summit encouraging youth to discover themselves and improve upon SELF will be on the SE Campus, Saturday, Oct. 18, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
The open forum is designed to help the youth of the Fort Worth-Dallas Metroplex expand upon SELF (spirituality, education, leadership and faith). The free event is for 7th-12th grade youth and consists of interactive workshops and group discussions.     Topics include community service, cultural diversity, spirituality, decision-making, communications and college preparation.
The summit is a project of the TCC Faith Based Institution Initiative, a program that promotes academics and educational services to families in minority and underserved populations through local congregations. The youth summit is presented by     Tarrant County College, Creative Visions Social Services, Dallas County Community College District and Teens Reaching Teens Inc.
