Genes focus of speech
Dr. Mary Carlin, geneticist, will present
The Issues of Human Genetics such as Development of Pediatrics, ADD,
Nutrition and Cerebral Palsy Wednesday, Oct. 29, at
10:45 a.m. in the Roberson Theatre on SE Campus.
From the seminar, parents, medical staff and students
can learn the advances of genetics, the risks of genetic disorders and
ways to help children develop well.
Carlin is the medical director of Agape Clinic in
Arlington.
The geneticist has more than 25 years of experience
in the field and helps children with mental disorders, their families
and schools throughout the state.
Her presentation is the second in a three-part series,
Focusing on Health, Education and Disabilities, held in conjunction
with the SE Campus Health Fair.
