Jack tales head to NE
A former British Beefeater will visit
NE Campus Thursday, Oct. 30, to talk about Jack the Ripper.
Just in time for Halloween, Tony Strafford, a Yeoman
Warder, will present the story behind the horror of the famous serial
killer.
Strafford, has worked and lived in the Tower of London
for the past 17 years. The Tower, over 900 years old, is the oldest
prison as well as the oldest Royal Palace in England.
Strafford will tell of the events that made the Tower
famous. According to student activities, stories will be graphic, involving
descriptions of violent executions.
The presentation will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the Student
Center, Center Corner.
