Nurse to address healthy
laughter
The South Campus nurse says she plans
to teach students how to deal with stress.
Flo Stanton, director of health services on South
Campus, will finish the last of a three-part health series with Laughing
Your Way Through Stress Wednesday, Nov. 5.
This free seminar will be 6-6:45 p.m. in the SSTU
Forum Room on South Campus.
Stanton has been involved with the South Campus health
series for several years.
“I have done several of these,” she said.
Having been a part of the TCC nursing staff for 22
years, Stanton said she is very familiar with dealing with stress and
believes stress is a good topic for young adults at the college level.
This speech is in collaboration with South Campus
health services and Women in New Roles program.
“WIN-R is a six-hour program designed to help
women in transition,” she said.
More information on WIN-R is available on the TCC
Web site.
