Registration instructions for TCC Connect

TCC Connect is an Internet-based system; those who do not have personal access to the Internet will find ample stations available at each TCC location. Call 817-515-5291 to find out where you can find assisted registration on your campus.

Steps to follow to a successful registration:

1. If you have never attended TCC, or if you last attended prior to January 2003, you must apply for admission. Applications can be submitted to any TCC location. Approximately 24-48 hours will be required to complete processing. During this processing time, you should complete necessary testing, advisement and schedule planning.

2. Complete necessary placement testing and advisement.

3. PLAN your schedule using the printed Schedule of Classes, OR go to www.tccd.net/schedules to download a searchable off-line Schedule of Classes.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Be sure to identify the 7-digit Synonym for each section. This is the number you will use to register for your sections.

4. On or after Nov. 11, access the Internet through your own computer or through any TCC location.

5. Obtain your new TCC ID and establish your Password. Your first TCC Connect Log in will require that you change your Password.
ALWAYS identify a Password Hint, allowing Password retrieval via e-mail. If you do not have e-mail, the staff-assisted reset process will require 12-24 hours to complete.

6. Go to www.tccd.edu. Select Register for Undergraduate Classes, then Log in.

7. Select EXPRESS REGISTRATION. Enter the 7-digit synonym for each course you want to take. Submit.

8. When your Course Schedule is returned, check your schedule very carefully to be sure that it is complete and correct. If any course line includes the NOT REGISTERED message, an Error Message will indicate a problem.
• If the section you selected is full, you can search on-line for an alternate section, then re-enter.
• Other kinds of problems will provide a message with additional information.

9. When you have successfully registered for all sections, print a copy of your schedule and fee statement. The amount due and deadline to pay will be on your Fee Statement.

10. Check with your Financial Aid Office if your Financial Aid award is not indicated.

11. Credit Card payment can be completed on line. A Payment Plan can be initiated on-line but only before classes begin.

Telephone for assistance with registration problems and questions Monday– Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. by calling 817-515-5660, or after hours and weekends by e-mail to Cathie.Jackson@tccd.edu.
