Jingle Run to benefit arthritis

Students who visit downtown Fort Worth after Thanksgiving will hear the ringing of jingle bells as runners and walkers from all over join for the annual Jingle Bell Run for Arthritis.
The 5k run will give the public a chance to get exercise as well as help a good cause.
With participants who range from 3 to 80 years old, the Jingle run is a family event for people of all ages. Live entertainment, post race snacks and door prizes after the race will give everyone some time to relax and enjoy the night.
The year’s run marks the 12th year of this event and is Saturday, Nov. 29, in Sundance Square. Festivities begin at 5 p.m. with the one-mile Elf Run.
Race night registration starts at 3 p.m., or runners can register on-line at www.active.com.
For more information about the race, contact the Arthritis Foundation at 817-820-0635.
